Give the bottle a good shake before you start. Exfoliating with a body scrub beforehand will help the tan develop more evenly. Dispense 2 to 3 pumps onto a tanning mitt and massage into clean skin with circular movements — an applicator mitt is the easiest way to apply it evenly. Let the foam sit for a few hours without rinsing it away. Using it once or twice a week is enough to build and maintain your tan.
