Lactic acid (AHA) is best suited to dull, dry and moisture-losing skin. It clears away dead cells to reveal fresher, smoother skin while helping to retain moisture, and at higher concentrations supports elasticity, thickness and a visibly smoother texture. Its larger molecule size means it works closer to the surface than PHA, making it gentle enough for delicate and sensitive skin too. Combining AHA and PHA acids in one formula delivers a noticeably more intense effect.
